Creating a Quest

Navigate to Quests

Go to Dashboard → Engage → Quests and click "Create Quest".

Configure Quest Details

  • Name: A catchy quest title
  • Description: What members need to do
  • Type: Select the quest type
  • Target: The goal (e.g., 50 messages)

Set Rewards

Choose one or more rewards for completing the quest.

Example Rewards

  • 500 XP + @Quest Completer role
  • 1000 server coins
  • 5 bonus giveaway entries

Set Duration (Optional)

Make quests time-limited for urgency:

  • • Daily quests (reset every 24 hours)
  • • Weekly quests (reset every week)
  • • Limited-time events
  • • Permanent quests (no expiration)

Twitter Quest Setup

Connect Twitter

For Twitter quests to work, members must connect their Twitter account in the Engage portal. The bot then verifies their actions automatically.

Supported actions: Follow account, Like tweet, Retweet, Quote tweet

Quest Board

Members can view and track their quests through:

Web Portal

Interactive quest board at your server's engage portal showing all available quests and progress.

Discord Command

Use /quests to view available quests and your progress.

Variety is Key

Mix different quest types to appeal to different member preferences.

Achievable Goals

Set realistic targets that challenge but don't frustrate members.

Meaningful Rewards

Rewards should feel worth the effort required.

Regular Updates

Refresh quests regularly to keep engagement high.

Anti-Abuse Measures

WardX includes rate limiting and verification checks to prevent quest abuse. Suspicious activity patterns are automatically flagged and may result in quest progress being reset.
