Creating a Giveaway
Navigate to Giveaways
Open the dashboard, select your server, and click "Giveaways" in the sidebar.
Configure Basic Settings
- Prize: What you're giving away
- Winner Count: How many winners to select
- Duration: How long the giveaway runs
- Channel: Where to post the giveaway
Set Entry Requirements (Optional)
Optionally restrict who can enter:
- • Required roles
- • Minimum level
- • NFT holder status
- • Token holder status
- • Account age
Configure Bonus Entries (Optional)
Give certain members better odds:
Example Setup
- @Booster role → 2x entries
- @NFT Holder role → 3x entries
- @OG role → 5x entries
Launch
Click "Create Giveaway" to post it to your selected channel. Members can enter by clicking the button.

Winner Selection
Cryptographically Secure
WardX uses cryptographically secure random number generation to select winners. This ensures fair, unpredictable results that cannot be manipulated.
Managing Giveaways
End Early
End a giveaway before its scheduled time and immediately draw winners.
Reroll Winners
If a winner doesn't claim their prize or is ineligible, reroll to select a new winner.
View Entries
See all participants and their entry counts in the dashboard.
Cancel
Cancel a giveaway without selecting winners.

Clear Prize Description
Clearly describe what winners will receive to set expectations.
Reasonable Duration
24-72 hours gives enough time for members to see and enter.
Announce Winners
WardX automatically announces winners, but consider a follow-up post with claim instructions.
